Private Counselling in Plymouth & Online

Evening & Weekend Counselling in Plymouth

Looking for evening or weekend counselling in Plymouth? I offer a limited number of appointments outside traditional working hours, making it easier to access support around work, family and other commitments. Sessions are available in person in Plymstock and online across the UK.

Evening and weekend counselling means therapy offered outside standard working hours, so you can access support without taking time away from work or rearranging your daytime responsibilities.

Whether you’re balancing work, family or a busy schedule, counselling can fit around your life instead of becoming another thing to squeeze into it.

Does any of this sound familiar?

You know you’d benefit from counselling, but finding time during the day feels almost impossible.

Work commitments

Your job makes it difficult to attend appointments during normal working hours.

Family responsibilities

Looking after children, relatives or others means your days are already full.

Busy schedule

You're constantly juggling responsibilities and struggle to make time for yourself.

You keep putting it off

You want support, but waiting until "things calm down" never seems to happen.

If you’ve recognised yourself in any of these situations, counselling doesn’t have to wait until life feels less busy. Finding a time that works for you can be the first step.

A calm, welcoming counselling room with comfortable seating, green accents, and soft natural light. This space is used for in‑person therapy sessions in Plymouth.

Counselling That Fits Around Your Life

Life rarely slows down just because you’re struggling. Work, family and other responsibilities can make it difficult to find time for yourself, which often means counselling gets pushed further down the list.

Choosing an evening or weekend appointment can make it easier to prioritise your wellbeing without taking time away from work or rearranging your daytime commitments. Having support that fits around your life means you’re more likely to give yourself the space you need.

Whether you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, burnt out, grieving or simply finding life difficult at the moment, counselling offers a calm, confidential space where we can explore what’s happening together. We’ll work at a pace that feels right for you, helping you make sense of your experiences and find a way forward.

Finding a time that works is only part of the picture.

A warm, friendly portrait of Rebecca Wilkinson, a counsellor in Plymouth offering relational, person‑centred therapy.

Hi, I'm Rebecca

I know that finding time for counselling can feel just as difficult as taking the first step. My aim is to offer a space where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, without worrying about being judged or having to explain everything perfectly.

I’m an NCPS registered integrative counsellor based in Plymstock, Plymouth, offering both in-person and online counselling. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, burnout, bereavement and many of life’s other challenges, adapting the way I work to the person sitting in front of me rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

With a limited number of evening and weekend appointments available, I aim to make counselling as accessible as possible for people balancing work, family and other commitments. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you, helping you understand what’s happening and move towards the life you want to live.
